Equipment and Service
Reserve repacks, wing checks and repairs can be done locally. What you need to bring is here too.
Last updated 2026-09-01Ölüdeniz is busy right through the season, which means you are well served for equipment work. Reserve repacks, wing checks and repairs are all done locally, so you do not have to send your wing home.
Why service on site
The directive requires all equipment used for flying to have passed an internationally recognised test standard and to be approved. Wings that have not been checked cannot be used, and equipment that has reached the end of its service life must not be flown. Your reserve also has to match the weight limits.
If your wing is due a check after a long trip, or your reserve repack date has expired, you can get it sorted in Ölüdeniz.
What is available locally
| Service | What is done |
|---|---|
| Reserve repack | The reserve is deployed, inspected and repacked. If the repack date has expired it has to be done before you fly. |
| Wing check | Fabric porosity is measured, seams and general condition are inspected. |
| Line measurement | Line lengths are measured by laser and the deviation from factory values is worked out. |
| Repair | Tear and damage repair on paraglider, speed fly and paramotor wings. |
| Sales | Equipment is sold on site. |

In the busy months there can be a queue for repacks and checks. If your flying dates are set, write before you arrive. You do not want to lose flying days waiting on your gear.
