What to write about
- Wrong information. If a coordinate, price, time or rule is wrong, send the correct one. Naming your source helps us fix it faster.
- Changed information. Prices, cable car hours and rules change during the season. If you found something different on the ground, tell us.
- Missing topics. If the guide did not answer your question, say so and we will add it to the FAQ.
- Photographs. Usable photographs of the takeoffs, the landing areas or the area itself are a contribution to the guide.
How this guide is put together
The content comes from three sources.
| Source | What it feeds |
|---|---|
| Official directive and bulletins | Rules, licence requirements, wind limits, airspace and accident reporting. The Fethiye Babadağ Flight Directive and the Slot Service Centre safety bulletins. |
| Local pilot knowledge | Site coordinates, aspects, ground conditions, access and the landing pattern, the details known on the ground. |
| Live measurement | Wind data pulled every five minutes from the weather stations at the takeoffs and in the landing area. Live wind |
The training and equipment service pages name specific businesses. Those are not independent assessments and there are other options in the area. The rest of the guide is written for every pilot flying here and carries no commercial steer.
Emergencies
Do not use the number here for an accident, a missing pilot or any other emergency. The emergency number is 112, and official reporting of flight incidents goes to the Slot Service Centre. Safety and emergencies
Most questions may already be answered on the frequently asked questions page, worth looking there first.
